Puppies From Trusted, Licensed Breeders
Every puppy at Happiness Is Pets comes directly from one of our trusted breeders. We partner exclusively with licensed, regulated breeders who share our commitment to responsible care, compassion, and animal well-being.
We maintain regular contact with our breeders and personally visit many of them each month. During these visits, we observe their care practices and confirm that the dogs receive consistent attention, exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to socialize.
Our partnered breeders’ kennels include direct-access outdoor runs that the dogs can use throughout the day. These runs can open into social enrichment areas that are typically around 2,500 square feet, with some extending up to three acres. These spaces give dogs room to exercise, interact with caregivers, and socialize with other dogs.
Science-Based Canine Care Standards
Our breeders participate in Canine Care Certified™, a science-based canine welfare program developed by Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
The program establishes standards in five important areas:
- Physical health
- Behavioral health
- Environment
- Breeding life and retirement
- Caretaker expectations
To maintain certification, participating breeders must complete an annual on-site audit conducted by an independent third party. These elevated standards help support clean, spacious environments, regular veterinary care, early socialization, and attentive daily care.
Puppy Health Warranty and Veterinary Care
We stand behind every puppy we place. Your puppy will receive an initial veterinary examination within seven days of purchase. Any necessary medication identified during that period is provided at no charge, excluding normal and routine puppy vaccinations.
Every puppy also comes with a two-year health warranty. If a veterinarian diagnoses your puppy with a congenital or hereditary condition that severely affects the dog’s health within two years of purchase, you may qualify for up to a full refund.
Most importantly, Happiness Is Pets will never require you to relinquish ownership of your puppy as part of the warranty process.
